A database dump of over 640,000 Playstation accounts was just listed for sale on TheRealDeal marketplace. TheRealDeal Marketplace is laden with private exploits, source code, and various services.
The fully decrypted username and password combinations being sold could easily be plugged into other websites as well, giving malicious users the ability to steal data or exploit those who reuse credentials. The seller by the name of SunTzu583 stated that the email addresses did not originate from a Sony server, but from a third party forum.
GTAGaming.com, uTorrent, Clash of Clans forum, etc. have had their user data sold on darknet markets recently as well, calling into question the security of many popular websites. These dumps illustrate the dangers of using similar passwords on more than a single website and the importance of using an open source password manager such as Keepass.
