Aaron James Glende (aka IcyEagle) was sentenced this week to four years in prison for selling stolen login credentials on Alphabay. He posted at one time over 300 different listings, including SunTrust bank accounts with a half a million dollar balance. The 35-year-old criminal ordered Oxycodone in early 2016, which was intercepted by chance by a Postal Inspector. From there, the investigation began and led to surveillence on Glende and his eventual arrest.
The moral of this story? If you are going to sell hacked bank accounts on the deep, best not to order drugs to your house! DOH!
